Hey there!
My name is Ryan Williams and I'm currently a radio broadcasting student at Niagara College. I'm very passionate about music and sports, and I try my best to incorporate that same passion in the work I do. What I love about media is the opportunity it brings to connect with others in the community.
More About Me
I've always had a passion for music and sports, but it wasn't until my grade 11 year in high school that I really explored the possibilities of expressing that through media. A friend and I started a soccer podcast called the Bleeding Orange Podcast, talking about Forge FC from Hamilton. Once we got into the groove of making the episodes I was slowly finding out how much I love being behind a microphone and producing a show.
Throughout my life I've always wanted to express myself and my personality to others. I find that through media, whether it be radio or television, this is where I can do that the best. I want to be able to share my experiences and passions with others and connect with the community I'm in.
I was born and raised in Niagara, which is a smaller community compared to others. This made me realize the significance of small-market media and its importance to the local community. I highly value connecting to people, and media is a powerful tool we can use to connect with those around us. My goal is to take full advantage of this throughout my career.
